  • April 30: Volunteer work party in downtown Huntington. Meet at 5 p.m. at the Pullman Square shelter.
  • April 24: Arbor Day tree-planting ceremony at Miller Park (12th Avenue and 7th Street). 10 a.m.
  • May 5: Volunteer work party at Huntington City Hall. Meet at 5 p.m.
  • May 5: Volunteer work party. Meet at 5 p.m. at the Pullman Square shelter.
  • Week of June 8: Installation of summer banners in downtown Huntington. Designed by College of Fine Arts and Media students at Marshall University.


Huntington in Bloom is part of the City of Huntington, West Virginia and a fund of the Foundation for the Tri-State Community, a 501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation is the only community foundation located in the Tri-State area of eastern Kentucky, southwestern West Virginia and southern Ohio. Established in 1972, the Foundation is an independent, non-profit, tax exempt, philanthropic corporation. The Foundation will hold and administer the contributions made to Huntington in Bloom and will use the gifts for the specific charitable purpose specified, at the annual fundraising event.
